This experience is designed for senior undergraduate students in computer science, who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges. These learners have a solid foundation in programming, algorithms, and software development, and are ready to tackle projects that require innovative problem-solving and technical skills. By engaging with industry professionals, students will gain practical insights and develop solutions that align with current technological trends, preparing them for future careers in the tech industry.

Throughout the academic year, student teams work on a real project with a project sponsor to propose, prototype/design, build, test, demonstrate, present and fully document a working prototype of a sophisticated computing system or application. The company's input will be used by the student team to ideate and propose an acceptable solution. Projects will be completed during a semester-long capstone class.

Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program are poised to succeed in the integrated work areas of research into police reform procedures, best practices, and investigation into how to implement at a policy level.
