Number of Students: 5

We would like students to help us with creating marketing content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and university. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

TRU Career and Experiential Learning will oversee the internship student in the development of marketing materials for upcoming events.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

· Assist in the development a Winter 23 marketing/event plan that incorporates a review of all current digital and print material and career events.

· Assist with adding new current and future content to the CEL social medial channels

· Assist in the planning and development of career events such as the Job Fair and Career Mentoring sessions, marketing the Career and Experiential Learning Department to the TRU community through presentations

  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our CEL, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

A student with excellent writing, strong communication, and interest in digital and traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project.

Mentorship

· Weekly meetings with supervisor

- Monthly department meeting

- Marketing training sessions
